Fescue lawns are seeded in the Fall so that they have time for the seed to germinate and grow. Fall seeding is important in giving the grass time to fully germinate in time for early Spring weed control.

What is included during each of the seven treatment rounds?
Cool Season Grass Program (Fescue)
Round 1 - Early Spring
PreEmergent and PostEmergent (weed control) with urea for that rich green color. Spot treat for weeds as needed.
Round 2 - Late Spring
Same as round 1. PreEmergent and PostEmergent (weed control) with urea for that rich green color. Spot treat for weeds as needed.
Round 3 - Early Summer
Liquid iron with PostEmergent for weed control. Spot treat for weeds as needed.
Round 4 - Late Summer
Lime soil conditioner to balance pH level before aeration.
Round 5 - Early Fall
Starter fertilizer. Weed control if not aerating and seeding.
Optional: Aeration and seed.
Round 6 - Late Fall
Starter fertilizer. Weed control if not aerating and seeding.
Round 7 - Winter
High nitrogen fertilizer for color. Mature fescue will be treated for weeds.
Warm Season Grass Program (Bermuda/Zoysia)
Round 1 - Early Spring
PreEmergent for crabgrass, broad leaf weed control, spot treat grassy weeds.
Round 2 - Late Spring
PreEmergent for crabgrass, broad leaf weed control, spot treat grassy weeds.
Round 3 - Early Summer
High nitrogen time release fertilizer, broad leaf weed control, spot treat grassy weeds.
Round 4 - Late Summer
High nitrogen time release fertilizer, broad leaf weed control, spot treat grassy weeds.
Round 5 - Early Fall
PreEmergent for Poa Annua, broadleaf weed control, spot treat for grassy weeds.
Round 6 - Late Fall
Soil conditioner including lime for pH balance. Treat broadleaf and grassy weeds.
Round 7 - Winter
PreEmerent for Poa Annua, broad leaf weed control. spot treat grassy weeds.
